FLUSHING, N.Y., June 27, 2022 – The New York Mets today announced the club has claimed infielder Kramer Robertson off waivers from Atlanta. Robertson was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse. In addition, the Mets transferred RHP Tylor Megill to the 60-Day Injured List and returned RHP Colin Holderman from his rehabilitation assignment, reinstated him from the Injured List and optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse.
Robertson, 27, appeared in two major league games with St. Louis earlier this year going 0-1. The 5-10, 165-pounder was claimed by the Braves from the Cardinals on June 5.
Robertson has slashed .242/.397/.385 with eight doubles, six home runs, 23 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 51 combined games between Memphis and Gwinnett of the International League this year.
He has slashed .249/.361/.370 with 81 doubles, 33 homers, 66 stolen bases and 186 RBI in 467 career minor league games.
